Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery procedures are not covered by medical insurance policies. During your detailed consultation, you will receive a personalized quote for the procedure you’re considering.

There is a $100 consultation fee due at the time of scheduling your appointment, which will be applied to the cost of surgery if you decide to go forward with your procedure. That fee is refundable as long as at least 1 business day's notice is given at the time of cancellation.

Should you decide to proceed with surgery, we accept cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  We also offer financing through Care Credit and Prosper Healthcare Lending. A unique feature of Dr. Peters’ practice is that she includes Aesthetisure insurance at no additional charge to you for most cosmetic surgery procedures. Many people don’t realize that, should you have a complication of cosmetic surgery, traditional medical insurance plans usually will not pay for the treatment of that complication. Of course, Dr. Peters makes every effort that all her patients heal without any problems, but complications such as infection can happen with any operation. Aesthetisure insurance can help cover the cost of complications of cosmetic surgery, should they occur, relieving the patient of this financial burden.

Interested in finding out just how affordable cosmetic surgery can be? We offer two financing options to help patients make their plastic surgery goals a reality.

Care Credit is a rotating line of credit that may be used for your plastic surgery now and for other needs in the future.  Using  our CareCredit payment calculator, you can determine what your monthly payment may be for different repayment options. The plans we offer are 6 months at 0% interest and extended payment plans, which are 24 and 36 months, both at 14.9% interest.

Prosper Healthcare Lending is another financing possibility with repayment options from 3 months to 7 years.  Interest rates will vary depending on your credit, the amount financed, and the repayment option chosen but may be as low as 8%.  Applying with the link below will not affect your credit score.

Medically Necessary Surgery

Dr. Peters accepts some insurance plans for medically necessary surgery. Some plans accepted at the office include:
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO
  • Blue Choice
Please note that we require at least 1 business day’s notice for cancellations or you may be ineligible to reschedule and/or may be asked to pay a missed appointment fee. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
