Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure performed to reduce the size of the labia minora (the inner tissues of the female genitalia).

Labiaplasty is most frequently performed to improve the appearance of the genital area.  This procedure can also have functional benefits in some women, as enlarged labia minora can cause difficulty with hygiene, exercise, and sexual activity.

The surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure and is associated with some bruising and swelling, but the recovery is typically well-tolerated by patients.
